Happy with the ongoing work on the central dome. Rest have tiding up to do in many places, but it will be a good model, that is for sure

Can you reduce that without shape distortion, I mean when you finish it?

Well, it is not 9000 (that was an allusion ). I didn't check yet...

    Anyway, nearing completion:

Btw, it seems it is over 30K. 35-ish maybe. Not entirely sure though (it is not one piece currently).

    That looks pretty good.

For my personal knowledge, I know that the Byzantines used some white plaster on their defense walls during the 13th century like in Nicacea for example. Was it the case also in Constantinople and/or for any kind of building? I'm just asking because you make the walls white on your model and I'm terribly curious

    Thank you

Well, i am sort of over-worked by now... I hope i can finish the demo. Yesterday (for the first time these two months that i work on this) i felt like it was a tall order and maybe a wrong plan on my part.

We will see... (by the way, Palaiologos, if you pm me your email i can send you some links to parts of my book )
