Slightly fewer stacks, slightly shorter battles ?
Hi there,
This failed Rome II launch had a good side effect; I decided to reinstall Rome I and rediscover RSII (last time I played was 2.1 I believe).
I went in the "EDU Changes" folder to reduce a little the stacks and battle time. Here's my problem, there's many possibilities, but no "Slightly fewer stacks, slightly shorter battles", apparently I have to choose between stacks or battles in terms of which one will be "slight". Is there a submod out there that would fit that description? Something like -15%/-15%?
Thanks!

Re: Slightly fewer stacks, slightly shorter battles ?
None of the old EDU changes will work since the update. However 2.6 will have fewer stacks anyway. I would recommend though playing One turn recruitment as it will result stacks and is more challenging probably.... I've certainly had more fun with it than zero turn.
In the sub mods forum there is a new faster battles submodules which will result in a little speeding up of battle speed. Do try this.

Thanks for the info, I will try it indeed! By the way, is the faster battles submod applicable to an existing campaign or do I need to start a new one?

It'll work on an existing campaign but you will need to delete.rwm in the launcher in order to activate the changes
