[List] Gameplay change recommendations
These are just my opinions but I feel would greatly improve gameplay.
A. Ships:
1)Transport ships should easily break apart from one ram hit by any real naval ship.
2)Fire arrows should set ships on fire3)Low moral for land units on water
B. Units:
1)Increase moral, let them fight more and fight down til there troops are truly diminished unless ofcourse moral is low due to being flanked, etc
2)Bring back guard mode!
3)More distinguishable general from other troops
4)Get rid of flaming javelins
5)Bring back loose formation!
6)Replace generals unit card, with his portrait (Similar to other TW's)7)Bring back unit cards that display actual unit numbers
C. Battle mode:
1)Bring back the action cam when the enemy or friendly general dies!
2)When units scatter, leave white flag above them so we can see them
3)Bring back fight to the death when surrounded4)Bring back battle details at the end of every battle that list kills, deaths, etc
D. Campaign mode:
1)Armies with generals and agents stationed in cities should be removed from the map (Similar to every other TW game) it will help save the game having to render more
2)Units should be able to move without a general, either by having low moral or thru a system where two generals can swap units from a distance thru an interface which then has the units walk to them.
3)Generals need to die ALOT less (Naturally)
4)Trade should be more valuable. and ai more open to it.
5)Bring back trade map information!
6)Increase hostility for all ai factions across the board (If more of them kill each other and alot of the littler factions die, the end turns will be better.)
7)Be able to set tech tree to automatically select the next option every turn (Similar to ETW/NTW)
9)More side affects for Releasing, killing, or enslaving armies! loyalty, dread, something!
10)Be able to put multiple generals in a single unit
11)Return factions leader, and heirs as recruit-able generals!!!!!!!!
12)Once a faction is destroyed all remaining units on the map should become rebel and act as such
13)Give the capital city a extra happiness bonus
14)Ability to change capital city
15)Happiness penalty for distance from capital
16)Allow units to traverse thick forest but induce a huge movement penalty17)Put [x] boxes on many of the open taps to close, rather than just using ESC
E. Cities:
1)Enemy buildings should have a red transparent look over them or lil red culture symbol in the corner to easily be noticed by the player2)City garrisons should be visible from the campaign map(Flag over city) similar to every other TW
F. Sound:1) "The Enemy hearts of full of fear and now they flee!!!" Why is it that in R2TW they don't sound epic, they don't sound full of energy, it's rather dull.... Example: not just the enemy general is dead but instead like RTW1 "We have sent the enemy general to the afterlife, his men now cower in fear!" It's so much more powering and immerse.
What would you add, or which don't you like, please state your opinion to help CA adjust the game.
