    You have the same error as everyone else above, which I've already explained is not due to mod manager:

    System.ArgumentException: not a pack file

    I'll show you the code that triggers this error:
    Code:
                    char[] signature = reader.ReadChars(4);
                    if (new String(signature) != "PFH4")
                        throw new ArgumentException("not a pack file", "filepath");
    As you can see, this happens when the pack file signature is not "PFH4". As all of the packs for Rome 2 have the signature PFH4, it can only be a mod that doesn't have.

    I suggest someone with this error gives me a list of the mods they are using from their data folder. Cheers.
    I suggest you go contact the author of whichever mod is broken and tell them to stop being so useless. (Find which mod it is by process of elimination)

    Just extract it to any folder you like, as long as all of the files in the original folder stay together, such as the .exe, .dll, etc. Doesn't matter where it is run from.

    Mitch, could you add a download mirror for your Mod Manager? I'm being redirected to blank pages when I click the links in your OP.

    I've added a secondary download link outside of TWC, also updated the tool to V4.

    Important:
    I've added information to any errors thrown, so you will be able to see for yourself what pack file is causing the problem. Please also give me the info if it happens! Cheers.

    Having some issues with the Mod Manager; I'm trying to use Radious' mod and the "change unit size mod", but only the second shows up at all, and doesn't even work in-game. Any clue as to why? I'm kind of a noob when it comes to modding TW games, but I don't appear to have missed anything as far as instructions goes.

    Still having the same problem as Gibonez. Win 7 64bit, download and extract file, keeping all 3 files together... upon launch, program immediately crashes, no error log. I know .Mitch. didn't write the original code... but as he has modified it, perhaps he can share any knowledge of any dependencies for the executable? Any help is greatly appreciated!

    The dependencies are the Common.dll and .NET framework 2.0 (which all operating systems above XP have as per standard).

    Other than that there is nothing, and even without the .NET framework you'd get an error telling you that it was needed, not this strange crash.

    Just to clear a few things up, do you mean that you don't get any error at all? The program just closes without a message?

    Could someone please tell me where I can find the user.script file. I`ve looked in most folders incl. scripts but cannot find one. Can I use a preference . script and rename it? (in unicode).

    thanks
