... you do an early access release on Steam for your next title so the community can help sort out your bloody mess before final release. You are so obviously unable to do it yourself. I think both customers and you would benefit from this.

Actually, a good idea. Doubt sega would ever let this happen though.
Arma has had troubled launches as well and Arma 3 does seem fairly polished even in the beta stage with multiple builds released.

Q. Did this game get beta tested?
You mean this doesn't qualify as an early release?
Seriously, if they had said "we'll release in December, just in time for Christmas!" then let people have early access around now, people would be rejoicing even if the game was in exactly this same state.
CA would have lost nothing from this strategy besides having to admit they need their community to help them out...which their community already knows.

CA: "Lol wut is beta test"
You mean this past release was not early access? The way it looks like, they released it without any testing and expected us to do all of it.
.
If I can't cheat, how will I get through school???
I'm not buying the next game without a demo, or at least, I won't pre-order it and will wait for actual reviews, not the ones paid off by them.
Yeah, I'm sure they didn't release a demo on purpose - it would have hurt their sales - which is seemingly all they care about these days.
