Is there a way to convert .loc to .tsv by using pfm.exe? pfm.exe told me only about those 5 commands:
    'c' to create
'x' to extract (no file arguments: extract all)
't' to list contents (ignores file arguments)
'u' to update (replaces files with same path)
'a' to add (does not replace files with same path)

    Cheers

    No, there is not.
pfm.exe is really only intended to be used as a (scriptable) packing tool for now.

Okay, the link downloaded but when I go to use PFM.exe it tells me it is not safe and connected to some email address.

Can you open the technologies table in CA's data_rome2.pack?

For comparison purposes, I have no problem opening the vanilla technologies table with the latest schema either

I added the link to the beta schema to the OP, otherwise they get buried quickly.
Probably need to add a "download beta patch schemas" option in PFM...

No, that's the whole point, I can't. I get the same message. I could copy it and tried to open it from a pack that has only this but as you can see the same error...

Whenever I try to add file from pack, directory and file I get a Unhandled exception error.

You probably have an empty "c:\steam\steamapps\common\Rome II\" folder.
    Delete it.

    Hmmm.
    So does the gamedirs.txt say
    Code:
    R2TW=
    STW=C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Total War SHOGUN 2
    NTW=
    ETW=

I suggest grabbing the latest beta version (found on the first page) and trying again. Quick question, is the error limited to the one table?

Yes I tried both the 'directory' folder and 'data' folder but to no avail.

For some reason I can't open land_units table... I can open old versions of the table, but not the version in patch 9 with a removed column. I'm not sure why. I haven't done anything funky to the files, just downloaded the compressed file, exported to a folder, ran the exe, and found the problem.

Anyone else had this, or am I the only one?

EDIT: Ah silly me, I should really read OPs before complaining Got the schema update and it's all good now.

    Default Shogun 2 units_stats_naval_tables problems

    Hi,

I am having some trouble with units_stats_naval_tables. When I clone (or add) a row it inserts "default" values into unknown97 and ship_crew_category both of which should be blank. If I attempt to delete the contents it gives an error message complaining that they both should not be empty. I have not been able to find a way to override the error messages. Any chance of a fix?

I am using 3.1.8 of PFM and schema 41

Just a quick note: torpedo_ability is the column that actually determines what ship_crew_category the ship will use. It seems that a lot of the columns are mislabeled.
Also: in unit_stats_land_tables unknown121 is the bulletproof trait, I don't know what the column that is labeled bulletproof does.
