    Default Couple of Problems

    1) Cannot build mines at Maronia.
I have just started a Macedon campaign and I took Maronia early on. But I cannot build any mines.
Loaded a Ptolemaic campaign and building a mine isn't available either.
Yet there is the gold icon there indicating that mines can be built.

    2) Bactria gets no naval trade.
I have all the provinces on the Persian Gulf outside of the Arabian provinces and I have no naval trade.
Even as the Seleucids, there seems to be no naval trade at Susa.
I took Parthia and Media in the same campaign and there is no naval trade happening there either.
    Aral sea or Caspian sea?
Not gotten to the Med yet, but I suspect it will be the same.

    3) In a number of campaigns, a number of rebel provinces ultimately go over to Armenia.
As far as I can tell, its when the rebel leader in that province dies. They revolt and join Armenia.
In my Bactrian campaign, Armenia has basically all the Scythian territory in large part due to this.
Is there anyway to stop this?

    1) Don't know, sorry

    2) From another thread:

The AI only trades EITHER by land or by sea with a town, hence no sea trade.
    3) I *think* it's something to do with "descr_strat.txt" and/or "descr_regions.txt", in one of them there is a setting that gives each settlement a default faction they'll revolt to - I'm not sure if you can set the default to "rebels". Careful when editing and make sure there aren't any discrepancies between the two files

EDIT: 3 isn't really a full answer, just a lead for you to pursue until you get a comprehensive answer
