As the title says: I was really disappointed when I didn't get to hear these. I was hoping for more on the level of MTW2's speeches, they actually got not just the troops, but me fired up for the battle as well. Hopefully this will be added soon?

When you click Start Battle, the general gives a bit of a speech. You have to zoom in to his unit to hear it though. I like it this way, feels much more organic and immersive.

Sometimes he stops in the middle of it if you issue orders.
Or perhaps they included speeches that sound dull.
Its a lot better than subtitles and camera pans.

This is one of my main gripes about this generally great game, I really enjoyed general's speeches, I get that he does one if you zoom in on him; but I always liked the camera pan ones.
