change the general of a legion.

So today while playing as rome one of the competing families tried to assassinate poor old Libo. Fortunately, they only succeeded in wounding him and a few turns later he shows up in Rome. My question is how do make him become the general of his original legion? Right now i have some random leading him and would very much like him to gtfo. I tried to put the legion in Rome and see if any options showed up but it didn't work out. Afterwards i tried moving Libo out of the city and the game crashed.

There should be a "replace" button on top right of the army info screen.
