Hey guys.
Previous to this, my computer was running fine with the exception of a few bad drivers. I could play games like Rome II on extreme, no problems.
I altered some settings in BIOS while attempting to fix the boot order of my computer.(it was a separate problem where my computer had messed up its boot order)
It was a video/graphic/monitor setting, which I believe I switched to IGP or something. Next reboot, my Computer was unable to detect my screen anymore(which it had done previously just fine).
I attempted to solve this issue by
- Unplugging and reseating RAM.
- Unplugging all cables(including monitor cables)
- Removed any residual energy by pressing the ON button for an extended period of time.
- Removed the GPU
- Removed the CMOS battery
1.5 hour later
Reinserted the CMOS battery & GPU
Plugged in all cables.
My computer runs fine, it starts; but my screen receives no signals.
My fans are blowing, all lights are up & strong on my GPU, Heatsink and Mobo. It gives me the impression that it is running as normal... except with no screen.
I am not sure how to proceed from here. Any advice?
