    Default Missile impact is awesome!

Missiles feel like they have a nice weight behind them in this game. I love seeing javelin volleys bouncing off of shields of phalanxes and arrows shot at fort walls bouncing off and stuff. Good job there who ever designed the missile mechanics!

I enjoyed seeing Ballista stones ricocheting and bouncing off of the stone walls.

My favorite thing is the puffs of dust that emanate from ranged missile impacts , clearly some dipsiht made this feature.

The animations are nice. I was playing against carthage and their general was on an elephant. He got stuck with a javelin, stood in his little thing with the javelin sticking out of him and then a hail of javelins knocked him off the elephant and he died.

Yea I have to admit there are alot of cool little details going on during the battles. The problem is that I can't experience any graphical feast of the sense or even make quick observations because if I stop to look at something I fall behind. During a battle I am practically microing the entire time and they end before they really even begin.
Bactrians will be Big 8. "Farther East" means Bactria.
After the Iceni reveal expect the unexpected.

Guys guys guys. The trick to enjoying the 28DaysLaterzombiefestFAST CA battles is ..... wait for it ....

RECORD the game as a REPLAY. Watch leisurely at slo-mo speed. AH, that is EPICNESSS.

This is how I enjoyed all those Shogun 2 battles. They were over waaay too fast. So I decided to record as replays the most fun battles I had. Then, I just watch them over AFTER battle, not DURING battle.

With speeds as they are set for Shogun 2 and Rome 2, it'd be a foolish general who just admires how his troops are getting slaughtered lawls
