Can't load saved game

Well lads.

Fantastic game! Brilliant! Plenty of bugs and the usual from CA but they always fix it so I'm pleased!

Anyway!
Upon loading my saved game... the load bar fills to around 1/4 length and then suddenly a new backround picture appears and the loading begins again.. but this time it's actually loading the main menu?!?!

I tried my auto save and quick save and normal save and all of them fail to work!


Now before this has happened everything worked out very well.. until I used an edit file to modify the save game to allow more than 20 units per general.. but after this.. it has made my save games no longer work!

Is this truely the effect of altering the saved game?? or is this a potential bug?

I have started a new campaign with Macedon so I hope that when I do return to play it tomorrow that it will load safely.


Any ideas lads?
