Trade and Online Battles

Hello, in the campaign map, almost nobody wants to trade with me and i dont get why not, trade benefits both nations and allows them to foster a good relationship and money over time.

Why dont people trade with me?

Now onto Online Battles, for some reason i cant see any lobbies, maybe 1 rarely but theres none, am i missing something like an online matchmaker or something?

In Shogun 2, clans didn't trade if it was more beneficial to you than to them. An example, I guess, would be if you have more resources worth stuff than they do. In R2, try adding a non-aggression pact, or doing that first for a few turns to build relations.

Yeah don't go to "multiplayer battle" go to quick match.

Go for provinces that have resources if you want more people to trade with you. If you've got nothing to offer, or are threatening, they won't want to trade with you.
