    @kanzy, I am aware of that. It is WIP shader and normally has the same artefacts for me but only in the menue.

    Not quiet right I am sorry but I think I might release GEMv3 today after Mech_Donald asked for a change I tried a few things to make the distant pictures look better and I came up with something that will change the realistic shader drastically. I will also get rid of the SSAO kind of effect for the true color version and leave the oil painting like effect for the cinematic shader.

    I tell you, the realistic shader looked never more realistic .. I will post a few pics in a moment

    @William, omg you have some crazy ideas

    True, they seem to be in hiding and updates come less and less frequent. I would have expected to be in another of their betas already. Maybe they bring a bigger update next time.

    So here the promissed changes (no more artificial look) in a few picture (realistic shader only) give me ya feedback.











    I think it needs more testing and polishing so maybe not today

    Right, might be related to the certain map. I will check it in vanilla color.

    Lucifer, the recommended settings from Leraje are not working for me, my game wont start. Wondering what Im doing wrong? I put the originals and its works fine. I had the same problem with Freedomdude's too and was never able to use his settings. Any idea, am i missing something? Thanks.

    Leraje has many profiles. Which do you use? Make sure it is fitting the GEM version you use. -also which GEM shader do you use?

    to the little brown clouds above: in vanilla they are red brown so it is as white as I can get them in that scenery. It of course looks different when the clouds are more white in another scenery.

    @Helmersen: I got used to the darker campaign map quite quickly, and I like it. I also noticed a bug with the AO. When fighting at Rome the ground will flash different colours, yet this is most likely due to my graphics artifacting (Rome is quite a big place you know...).

    make sure u rename the file back to SweetFX_setings dont keep the file name the same way u downloaded it wont work..

    Most recently one 2.3. Truecolor.

    Open the GEM_settings.txt and set USE_SHADER3VERSION to 1. You either use DX9 or you have 2 graphics cards and the wrong one is selected from R2.

    @ Lucifer - can you post a couple of screenshots with the new shader sans film grain and blur? Thanks.

    #3 in the first post and apls are probably the best looking ones of the bunch.

    @FreedomDude have you got any screens showing the colours? also how do you enable AO with inspector? I enforced it with Nvidia control panel "manage 3d settings" so I'm not sure if I have actually enabled it.

    - Page 113 has some actual non edited images of my settings with AO enabled.

    - Yes you use inspector to enable AO. Instructions can be found at the top of page 113

    I will try to take some more screenshots using my settings (I'm running out) and I will refrain from editing them... XD
