Would it have killed them to get some language help?
I started playing as the Iceni. The accents are worse than those in Medieval 2. They are ghastly. When I listen to Empire and Shogun 2 I hear authentic spoken voice-acting in the correct languages. Even the spoken English sounds 'right' (in Shogun's case especially).
So, for the Celtic tribes, could CA not have found Irish, Welsh, Scottish native speakers for the few lines needed? OK, this would not have been truly authentic - they would need to hire modern Welsh/Gaelic speakers - but it would have done something to add immersion. I find myself wincing every time I have to give a unit orders or click on a spy or warmaiden.
You know, high profile game, long in the making, big budget - they couldn't find a Celt? They do exist.
