I take it that’s a joke ? If not Keep thinking like that and CA will go out of business. Have CA any Idea of how much anger there is over Rome 2 . Will this patch address the insane game wrecking battle speed that lays waist to all the work CA has done on the fantastic battle animations. You cant watch the facial expressions or battle animations because it’s so mind numbingly fast. Really Rome 2 must be aimed at 12 year olds its just a 3 minute melee mass brawl where you have no time to employ tactics. Battle speed needs reduced by 50% and morale increased 50 % . Its now 2013 but in the world of CA its 1998 we now have computers with Multi cores any chance of your company researching that and tring to get the game running on some of them ? In its current state this game is a apiece of Craig

    all according to plan
    relax guys

I pre-ordered the game to get the DLC bonus, but I have no intention of playing it for the next 3-6 months. I am glad there is a chorus of dissatisfied people, so maybe CA will be fast with the patches.

Look, it is always this way:
    A) Hype, B) release C) bugs, issues, whatnot, D) patches, E)mods and finally F) Expansion and G)Expansion patches

The whole trick is to guess the time between the ticks.
Empire became a decent game in year. I was very disappointed with that. Shogun became a good game in 3 months and with the Expansions it is great. I was happy with pre-purchase.
Now I was certain (at the time of pre-purchase) that Rome will be Rome:Total Crap for the first several months of release. It is a big game. CA always releases the games in beta phase.
Moreover, the pre-release info was short, uninformative, few demonstrations and all of them showed glaring issues or did not show anything (come on, assembling the damn onager when you should have been showing gameplay...).
That does not mean this will be a crappy game in 3-4 months.
Or at least that is my hope.

Guys buy Europa Universalis 4 and enjoy some pure strategy gaming until they fix Rome. Paradox has learned and the release was much better than could have been reasonably expected.
CA seems to be unable to learn how to manage releases. Still, they are dedicated enough to support the game at least until the most glaring issues are fixed.

Hundreds of thousands of brainless jellyfish are enjoying the game right now!! Take my word, I am Steve, a new CA rep.
Shogun 2, no thanks I will stick with Kingdoms SS.

I'm stuck at the Installer. I click on the Rome 2 picture and I hear a sound but the game won't start. Yet my personal Steam avatar is lit up green saying im playing Rome 2.
