Shogun 2, no thanks I will stick with Kingdoms SS.
Hey,
The community here on this forum is certainly not representative of the entire playing community of Rome II. I personally love it. And no, I am not "paid" to be positive about a video game, vultures.
Thank you for selling me a beta-alpha build of the game! Enjoy spending my money!
Any chance I could get the game for free? Seems worth it.
That's your opinion. My opinion is, the combat is just right, and most of the people I know playing enjoy the combat how it is. I could never go back and play the very slow and terrible combat pace of Medieval II at this point. Also, there's an option in the menu called, "Realistic Combat", give that a go and see if it improves anything for you. Please fix battle speed is way to fast !!!
The majority of my members are enjoying the game and having only minor issues with the game -a few major issues, a few runnnig on extreme with zero issues to report. This experience with Rome II is unique to everyone, obviously because this is pc gaming. Although, it's obvious that the game needs more optimization, mainly for AMD systems, as it really seems like people with newer intel systems are runnnig the game fine, while AMD users are the ones mainly suffering.
100+ Members of Ferrum Procella are actively playing the game since release, and don't come on the forums making trollish comments to CA and other people who enjoy the game for what it is - the best Total War yet. Thanks for all your work on this game thus far CA, and all of us who love the game appreciate you getting out some patches to improve the game so quickly.

Hum, you must be trolling ...
They can "patch" therecruitment/generals system?
Please add in family trees, make battles less blob-on-blob combat and improve performance & graphical cleanliness (flickering, varying texture qualities, pop-up objects etc...)Wouldn't mind if you did a overhaul of the UI as well, it is cryptic and cumbersome.
give us back the unit multiplier (in the preference script)
Great news, and thanx for posting here fan-forums!
Apologies for anyone who's message i may miss or not be able to answer
OK, I was told here by a poster that CA have implemented an option to turn the trails off. So where is it then? I've checked all the graphics options, I've even turned the particle effects down to low - the trails are still present and (in)correct.
@Unwelcome Guest - it has some rough edges, but it is certainly nowhere near as bad as some people here make out. Still, I shouldn't be surprised: I played, and enjoyed, the original Rome for months with no patches/mods, yet apparently it was 'unplayable' according to people here...
OPEN BATTLEFIELD CAPTURE POINTS AND IMPACT PUFFS HAVE GOT TO GO!
REVERT INFANTRY THROWING PILAE TO ROME TW'S SYSTEM AS IT WAS PERFECT!

I really should not be amazed that in a thread that announces a patch with 4 calendar days of release, people are still.

@SonofCrusader76 It's under the battle interface settings.
please fix:1)battle speed! when I speed up the battle it changes by like 1.5% instead of 600%the speed up is ridiculously slow while the main battles are ridiculously fast! units waver and flee in SECONDS. again. ridiculous!2)for the love of god fix the diplomacy! trying to get a trade agreement with people is near impossible!
has anyone else faced problems with coop campaign desyncs too? I cant take even a single city with a friend of mine without the game desynicing and well being useless
First problem - battle speed obviously. Too fast, too arcade, too "starcraftish", meantime this is total war.

people confuse too much personal preference with "game issue". battle speed is personal preference, not a game issue. lag and graphic flickering and resolution is an GAME ISSUE.
