Default We need a real "no shadow" option

I won't speak of gameplay yet since I didn't get to the point of actually playing the game yet.

I was "blocked" by a serious graphical issue.

I have an old GPU (GeForce 260).

When I started the game, I went immediately to Custom battle, and tried a small one to test my graphics settings. I was relatively pleased to be able to put a lot of things at relatively high settings, and get a relatively decent result.

But then I turn around the units, and literally saw the Dark Side of the moon.

I tried to set the Shadow to "Low", but the units are still very dark when not directly lit by the Sun.

I played a bit with the settings. I managed to get rid of the Black shadow issue by setting Directx11 to false and using Shader Model 3. However, compare to the first screen: the quality of the units is a lot worse, look at the blend texture of the shields!

So I think we should petition CA: if they can't make the shadow work properly for old GPU, could they at least add a real "no shadow" option that would completly remove?

I don't want to buy a GPU twice the price of the game to get units I could see from both sides! And I'm not even sure the black shadow issue doesn't exist for more recent GPU.

4th option: Fix graphical bug that causes this! So you did not know it, but there is graphical bug that makes textures looks like (like in your pictures) and messes up shadows.
Apologies for anyone who's message i may miss or not be able to answer
