Odd Battle AI Behavior
I've noticed sometimes the computer (especially phalanx units) will send part of it's units off to the side and they just sit there until I wander over and attack them. And sometimes the computers reinforcements will just sit at the edge of the map and do nothing until I walk up and wack them with swords.
Any idea what causes the BAI to just sit around and do nothing?

It's a vanilla issue. Often the cause is to do with vegetation, especially if they have siege engines in their army.
Phalax soldiers going for a wonder has been an issue since day 1 of RTW and no one is exactly sure how to stop it.

I am working on the issues with the AI battlefield behavior by doing some testing and tweaking with the formations files. Hopefully I'll be able to solve (think I have) the problem of some units sitting back and doing nothing.
As for phalanx units, there just is no way, once the battle starts, to make them stay in formation.....that I know of.
