Having Trouble Installing Rome 2
Hi, I bought Rome 2 online. I hit the activate game section on Steam, put in my CD key. I waited for a while whilst the steam page appeared to be processing with a small circle to the right but nothing else really happening. Panicking that it was not working, I then followed the Sega email instruction to install their downloader Metaboli. The Rome 2 icon came up on Metaboli and I tried to download but it failed..at a later time I discovered this was due to me not having read/write rights to the Steam_User.exe file for Rome 2. I then shut down my computer and there was a warning message but it closed before I could read it. Now when I try to go through the steam game activation process again it says the CD key has already been provided and to click on Install, however there is no Install option (only Back & Finish). Anyone know a solution?

Re: Having Trouble Installing Rome 2
I've had install problems with Steam as well, and I had the CDs!
It took over an hour to install from the CDs and it wasn't downloading anything either. And I'm on a quad-core with good internet. Asthmatic ant springs to mind...

Update: it was eventually 2hrs before it got to the stage where it 'started' to install. Step 1 of 10...Losing the will to live...
