Rome II is not the worst total war game. Everyone is acting like its the worst game ever made The game has only been out for 1 day there are some serious problems with it yes this is true. Give it time CA will make a patch and fix or modders will come and save the day you guys just need to chill an stop acting like children And im not having any graphical problems and my pc is 2 years old.

What is wrong with me? Well the fact CA hasn't paid me for defending their game! That's what's wrong with me!

At least with that i would pay the Scythian factions DLC!

I agree mostly, but you mustn't forget most posters actually ARE kids, so they can't help it -although some kids manage to act like babies-. I don't feel the problems are serious though. Sure, there are things i'd like to see different, but i wouldn't class them serious problems. The game is still very much playable.

Actually based on polls run over here. 80-90% of everyone on this forum is over 20 years old. But then again most are still children at heart XD

Agreed! Though prepare to be called a casual and an uneducated child for having a different opinion ! I have an old computer and granted I have most the settings very low it is a good game as far as I'm concerned. Sure it has a few things I don't like about it like the battle speed, turns per year, and moral but so far I have been glued to it. Once I get a new computer I will probably spend most of my time on there!

I'm 24 and a pretty rational poster. I don't criticize developers individually, don't make statements about their personal lives, stuff like that.

I understand Rome 2 will see additional fixes and support from CA and the quality of the product will improve in the coming weeks and months.

But there are some serious head scratchers with the game, the least of which is the removal of Guard Mode, which essentially destroys any possibility of keeping a proper formation and fighting like ROMANS, which is the name of the game if anyone has forgotten.o

My first impressions that it is actually the worst game ever made in TW franchise. The even cutted down multiplayer in order to promote crap ARENA

I'm not paid to like something that is broken. I paid for a product, and I expected to have atleast somewhat playable Total War game, instead I got Starcraft 3: Ancient Hellenic Aliens -edition.

Patches...ok sure. Fair enough. Why though, should customers who pay $60 have to depend on MODDERS to fix CA's game? Sorry. Nope. The game should not have been released like this. Plain and simple. It's like this for ALL CA games. Always has been. 3 months from now the game will be good at least.

I would put the blame more on the publisher (Sega) than CA. It seems to be the model lately for most pc games. Get the game out as quick as possible then patch until it is finished adding in DLC along the way to keep money rolling in.

Agreed. SEGA put too much pressure on CA. Simply put. the big gorrilla told CA to release it now, or never.

I dislike the user interface for the battle maps and campaign map. Troops run way to fast. Also i dislike the major factions getting their butt kicked. So far I am playing as the romans in my legendary mode campaign Egypt been wiped on and Carthage has been wiped out. I really wanted to battle it out with Carthage and Egypt.

So far I am not having any performance issues but I have a I7 intel cpu and a pretty decent graphics card

I play as Athens on Hard and Carthage + egypt are wiped out for me aswell, carthage i understand historically but egypt?, maybe egypt needs a little buff from CA
