OK, I am a new player for the Total War series. I have trouble beating Part 1 of the Prologue. It says that I have to capture the village but my units failed to do so and the enemy have captured them. The question is, how do I beat the Prologue Part 1? Thanks!

But as far as I know, in part 1 of the prologue, there are no cavalry units. Moreover, the prologue does not give hints on how to use the units, unlike in Total War Shogun 2.

Swordsmen beat pikemen, pikemen beat cav, cav beats archers and archers beat infantry. If your not sure of what the units are zoom in and look at their weapons or right click on the unit card to bring up the encyclopedia while paused *I think*

I am enjoying the prologue. Probably you don't know how to master this kind of RTS.
