So far in my campaign I haven't had any CTDs or other problems a few people here have mentioned. Its been a lot of fun so far. Graphics are what I expected for my machine and battle AI has been reasonable. The game has matched my expectations.

You have to remember, compared to the 50 or so people who are having problems and posting here, there are about 100,000 people playing online and enjoying the game.

I agree. I have found a few issues here and there but Shogun 2 had the same thing so hopefully like Shogun 2 after a while and a few patches it should become even more enjoyable. There is possibly a lot of hate for the game due to the hype being so massive yet the game being a bit unpolished. Overall I am having a lot of fun with the game and think it can only get better over time.

I'm playing on a laptop. Everything is on ultra or very high except for sky,water and shadows. Average 20-30 fps.

Played an Iceni campaign for 9 hrs today. It's pretty fun but there are definitely some issues with battle and campaign. Once they get a hold of the performance problems and we do get something like a darthmod it will be better. For now it's enough to keep me playing.

Stop worshiping and blindly defending CA with made up numbers and speak for yourself. It doesn't matter that there are people enjoying the game without issues if there are many paying customers who cannot do so. CA has failed to deliver their product successfully.

Why are you mad at me? You are acting as though it is wrong to expect a game to work when it is released and sold to customers for money. The current state of this game is simply unacceptable and Creative Assembly absolutely deserves all the flack they are getting for it. This is way too prevalent in PC games these days to ignore. How much longer are you willing to let these companies on you? You would think that SimCity and Diablo 3 would be enough, but I guess not.

I didn't attack him for liking the game, only for making up statistics (which he is continuing to do btw). If the game works for you, that is fantastic, but that doesn't change the fact that it doesn't work for many other people. What exactly makes you think that the issues effect only a small minority of customers?

I love how on this forum anything positive about Rome 2 makes you a fanboy.

Some problems for a small group of people is expected. Unfortunately for them they're just a small minority compared to everyone else who is not having problems.

I had a weird bug where two ships came up onto the land and half buried themselves in the sand, then the troops on board had a nightmare trying to get off. I just laughed. I've played every single TW game so you learn to have patience.

Lots of minor issues and seems less polished than Shogun 2. Hope the patches fix it, but is mainly in style and appearance. (Wont hold out for AI)

The forums are full of complaints about combat speed being way too fast and performance issues. It far exceeds "50" people and there are plenty of people who don't even know how to use forums. Also, you think 20-30 FPS is normal? Jeez.

Really, most here don't care if it's good or not, most care if it's better than EB, RS 2, RTR, and so many others. People will go for some fresh air with the shiny graphics and then go back for their previous titles until the heavy patching commences.
