Okay, this doesn't make any sense to me. I woke up this morning around 7AM EST and played the game for 2 hours (everything was working great, graphics looked good, no bugs that I noticed), then I stop playing, shut down my PC, go to work, I get back, steam is down but now its back, I start up Rome 2, and the graphics are shuttering.
I check my settings, they are the same as before, I try lowering them, same thing (shutering). I start a campaign game, and my PC locks up after a few seconds. How in the heck did the game go from working perfectly fine (2 hours gameplay) to shuttering graphics and locking up my PC?
Are all the problems everyone is having due to Steam?!?!
I've never seen a game work and then stop working in one day. It either works or doesn't. FYI, Mount and Blade is still working, Far Cry 3 and Civ 5. Granted none of those are graphic intensive, but that shouldn't matter.
I did not install any new programs or change anything at all. The only thing I did was shut down my PC after installing Rome 2, started the PC up 9 hours later and started Rome 2 (after waiting for steam to come back).
