Want 40 units fighting under one General? Here is how!

I'm using 40 land units and kept navy at 20 and no ills here. I did see another file campaign_setup_options under the campaign_setup tab that also shows two values of 20 as well. Do those two values also have to do with numbers of units?

So if I edit to 50 units the extra 10 will be waiting like reinforcements? It is the same for the Ai or they can have all 50 units at the battlefield?

Guess what! I've made a mod which changes the army strengh bar so you could use up to 41 units per 1 army! I hope you'll like it and I'm posting it to a new thread to campaign mods section.

Yup. The AI can't recuit more than 41, so its the maximmum. You have to keep the navy at 20 or CTDs happen!!

what I meant was. if I save it under a Macedon save and later restart as Egypt and delete Macedon do I have to do the same thing for Egypt? or Should I save it and never delete it from my saves and no matter with who I start it'll work? Everytime you start a new campaign you have to do the tweak.

dmboss, first this is awesome work with the strength banners, I got it support to 30 units but your change is far superior.

Second, do you mind if I just go ahead and put your strength bar.pack linked in my initial post (credited to you of course?) Help people from digging through 7 pages to find something I think a number of people wish to have.

Instead of using the value 40 use 30 in the ESF editor.

As as far as army composition past 20 units there won't be any differences assuming you aren't using mods which set unit limits.

What about Setting it to 100 Unit per Stack cause thats how i played a campaign till round 240))
It works for me and you can still pick any unit in Ui

Never saw the Ai recruit more than 41 units though
so how can i get it to do this??
And Yea i play 100units at small unit size using The Flam DEI mod for the Flags
