    Default Help With TV Display...

So I use my Widescreen (42 inches, I beleive) TV as my computer monitor. I've played both Total War Games (Empire, RTW1, Shogun) as well as Steam Games (Dawn of War II and expansions) without issue.

Upon booting up Rome II though, it's like the entire display of the game is shifted a couple of feet to the right. I can't see the right tip of the Eagle underneath the title. Also, my cursor displaying on the screen does not match where the game is recognizing the cursor to be (In other words, the arrow needs to be about 8 inches beneath the button for the button to become highlighted).

I know it's hard to explain/comprehend, but it's frustrating. Anyone have any ideas?

EDIT UPDATE: After scouring the interwebz, I have found a way to fix this issue. It involves disabling DX11 in the preferences text. I don't think it's a permanent solution, but for the meanwhile, at least I can start playing.

I have the same sort of problem when I downgrade the resolution (for performance). Not only is it skewed, but it also changes the refresh rate from 60 to 30! These are two settings that need to be added: aspect ratio and refresh rate!

It's weird though, i try changing the resolution, yet it doesn't change anything - except for the crispness of the menu.

I used to always have this problem except it was with the windows desktop. I could fix it with an auto adjust on the the TV or by fiddling around with the position controls. Difference being that was when it was plugged into the RGB port for PC. Now with HDMI I do not have the ability to do any of that and had to re-size and re-position from the Nvidia control panel.
I don't know if any of this will help you in your situation. But there it is.
May your road lead you to warm sands.

So an Update. I've plugged in my old Computer monitor (HP w2338h) to see if it was the tv.Turns out it does the same exact thing on this monitor too. I've just uninstalled the game and have started to reinstall it.

SunofVich - thanks for your advice. Sadly, I tried auto adjusting the Computer monitor, and manually modifying the position controls on the TV. I just updated my AMD graphics driver too.
