Possible Fix For Low FPS!
Basically this Boosted my fps from unplayable to perfect fps even when zoomed in, All you have to do is lower unit detail to High and keep everything else on whatever u want I'm running maxed except unit detail on high, the game runs smooth as butter. it worked for me in shogun 2 and it does the same on Rome II, let me know if it works for you

Re: Possible Fix For Low FPS!
I downloaded the razer app, and it helped a little bit but still unbearable low FPS in melee fights.

Re: Possible Fix For Low FPS!
I turned down the unit settings to high as well and everything was working better. Not the best, but the slowdowns during melee are not as bad. I have everything on else on extreme. I went from 15 FPS duing battles to high 20s just with that setting alone. But from time to time there is some hicups where the performance drops for a second or 2.
I'm running an i5 2500k @ 4.6 with a MSI 7950 and 8 GB of RAM. Like all Total War games, this uses the CPU way more than the GPU, max GPU usage only hits like 60%. I've seen it as low as 25% at times.

I did the same exact thing and it's like a miracle. Everything else is cranked up to extreme...units size huge. No slowdowns.

Wow why does this happen lol. Set everything to high im stable at 66 fps, but it still looks like
sadly exactly the same as Extreme.
