Very good basic fundament (strategy map, unit variety and general impacts) but loads of unpolished features (Battle/diplomacy-AI, some balancing, performance-enhancement).Expect to play this 1.000 hours+

In it's current state, it's utter trash.
Instead of an amzing ancient world, they recreated Chernobyl.

Looks very promising. Needs to get patched big time and very soon. Looks like the deadline was a few months too early.

Definitely a horrible game. Besides poor optimization and tons of bugs, game just missing a lot of things from other TW games.

its a good game but with typical CA release bugs (nothing new since every TW is released like this), but like any other TW release common sense is not welcome on the Trolling/Hater's week........

its good not perfect. its awesome not legendary. it got good gameplay and a few bugs which will send me into a murder rage.
8/10 for me. I would have give it a 9 but some units aren't balanced right and some minor issue.

Ineed to drink four botlles of red wine and smoke a joint to back to the game,not allow us to tweak the preference to our needs to increase unit_sizes,and without reduce the unit speed ,becomes the game unplayable.

The only thing that really annoys me is not being able to input an amount of money in diplomacy, but otherwise i would say its pretty good.

It's a good game. It has some rough edges and some strange bugs (you get the 'Rome victory speech' when the enemy win via victory point, for example) and I detest what they've done with the pila throwing. For God's sake, CA - it was literally perfect in Rome TW; why change it???? If it ain't broke and all that?
Awful? No? Bad? No? Rubbish? No. It's a good game, and I can see myself sinking hundreds of hours into it; certainly much more than I did with Shogun 2 and Empire. I love the new line of sight system - it actually makes scouts have a use now. The attention to detail is wonderful as well - apart from those damn pilae!

REVERT INFANTRY THROWING PILAE TO ROME TW'S SYSTEM AS IT WAS PERFECT!

The game is horrible. Missing a lot of core combat features for Romans (fromations) and Greeks (proper hoplite phalanx), etc. Im not even talking about the bugs (which don't bother me as they are fixable).AI is bad, game is just a reskin of same units. Non of these things are MODDABLE.
