Army Panel too large

I'm playing at 1400x900 and the army panel takes up a third of the screen, I don't see any way to reduce this to anything like previous games where it was a thin strip across the bottom. If anyone knows please help. I don't want to have to keep minimising and then maximising the panel throughout a battle.

It's like it's set for someone who's vision impaired or something, is there a way to reduce the size?

I was wondering the same thing. Part of me doesn't want to complain too much until im playing on a new comp. Thats a couple months away. But there are alot of nitpicking issues.

It's HUGE. Really messes up the normal flow of battles having to constantly click to minimize it and pull it back up again.

In previous games there was a minimal interface toggle that got rid of a lot of the clutter, this game seriously needs something similar, but to take the army panel back to previous game dimensions. It's ruining battles for me anyway.

Absolut annoying, wonder which retard has done this.
After 5 hours i guess i let it be and come back when the modders has put a hand on it.

I tottaly agree.
I'm playing the prologue and this is one of my main complains so far. I cannot see my armies because of the giant UI. I have to minimize the UI ("I" key) to play battles.

They should have kept the unit card size and overall layout from FOTS. These new cards are bigger AND less informative.

It is really huge that it cover almost 50% from the middle screen. Hard to see anything behind it.

I've just fought my first 40 unit army battle since patch 5. I can only see one and a half lines of cards, only the top half of the bottom row showing, which makes group forming/selection very difficult.
Toggling 'I' doesn't sort it either.

Yes, they are cumbersome. I have a wide-screen, and wishing there was an option to have the cards at my right or left, and have them half the size currently. Squares, not rectangles.

Yeah, it's way too big. The UI seems to be 3 different designs mashed together into one.

The UI seems to have been designed for visually impaired individuals. I hope they add an option to resize them down.

The Advisor is huge, for example, and could have done the same job half the size.

I agree with these posts 100% as well and just to be noticed and make my voice heard am posting here in the hopes that at some point this oversized, for no particular reason army cards are re-sized or re-sizable to a normal persons requirements not my 103 yr old grandfather with cataracts.

The UI is the bloody same size across resolutions, and consider that I find it "too big" on my 1080p screen.... No wonder people crying foul about it. But we all agreed the UI is the worst in the series, right?
