    Demons souls total war is based off of the Ps3 Title by the same name.

    The story

    On the first day, man was granted a soul and with it,clarity.On the second day, upon the earth was planted an irrevocable poison. A Soul Devouring Demon. Mens greed soon overwhelmed them, and they attempted to harness the power of the demons. Only to be consumed by them.

    The Demons swept through the beautiful world and brought it to ruin, until six brave heroes sealed the power of the demons away in six archstones, and banned the soul arts. Many lifetimes have passed since those day's. but now,King Allant the twelfth, has again awakened the power of the demons souls.The power that was granted to him and his people brought unprecedented prosperity to the people of Boletaria.
    But none could have anticipated what was to come next. The demons again took the souls of men, and a colorless fog swept over the land. The brave hero sent by the keepers of the six archstones has been slain, and now the King and his demons have free reign over the land.

    The King promised the demons that in return for their aid in slaying the hero, he would grant them an end to their eternal suffering. He intends to keep his promise. But the demons see only betrayal.

    Right now I am handling all of the modeling and Scripting for the units. But I am looking for someone who is knowledgeable in texturing to help with this project.

    This is quite a great idea! Demon's souls on a large scale battle? I only thought that was possible in my dreams (': this is gonna be legit when it is complete!

    I did manage to make the ever mighty Kilij! As well as an early beta cape for the maiden

    Not done with the Maiden just yet, but I have made a simple hatchet that resembles the one that dreglings use in the opening scene, perhaps mercs could use it, as well as the wooden shield! I put some textures and a normal map on it to give an idea, but it is certainly not a final product.

    Ahhh very interesting. Are you going to try and include many weapons from the game?

    quick upddate, got the body of the maiden done, now working on the head. I've also managed to make the halberd that the Temple Knights use! going to go back and tweak a few things but its just about there.

    an update on the maidens status, I had to go back to the drawing board and scrap her original head after realizing it was too high polygon, I found a method today that lets me model with low polys without sacrificing detail. i have done is the top of the head and the lips right now and am working on it more.

    Thank you, I don't think it would hurt to have someone else helping with the models. Do you know anyone who could help with texturing/skinning? I'm clueless!

    I had originally planned on making her a fire magician, but after testing it with some regular in game units it seemed to crash the game when i made her a mage (aka byzantine fire thrower). What I figured out was that officers units (which is what affects her in game model) can be any MELEE class. I also found out that by editing the move-set of a general i can make them use any melee class as well (even the spear-man somehow) I tried 2handed swords, clubs, maces, ect. The only hang up was a spear man. which for the life of me i can not figure out why it causes crashes, but i assume it has something to do with the comment assigned to the skeletal structure. For all I know, with the right skeleton and model an officer could hypothetically use ranged attacks, but if they can i do not know how to do it yet.

    I think that her bodyguard could be some kind of heavy royalty/mage type. Fire magicians under her tutelage with a medium melee attack.


    After much testing I think it would make the most sense to have her one hand a staff and use a sword in her off hand.

    A staff and a sword? That is pretty awesome! Gonna be interesting to see the maiden fight! (: Are you going to attempt to include as many npc's from the game that you possibly can?

    yep! I think just about everyone, even the vendors can be in. The vendors/blacksmiths can be area specific ancillaries that give you discounts on upgrades or something. Blacksmiths might give you a discount on retraining. Even Sparkly the crow could be in an area. Maybe giving your general or merchant An increase in trade-able goods. I plan on making the people who were actually in the fight like Ostrava/Garl/Biorr generals.

    That is really interesting and can't wait to see it implemented! You seem to be attempting to keep the genuine feel of the game while implementing rts elements. Must ask, will the insane difficulty element be there for the hardcore demon's souls fans?
