If you have no internet connection and a boxed copy of the gmae hot to install?

My friend has no internet connection , just got the phisical boxed copy and cannot install play the game ...

How can he do?

Get some internet, I'm pretty sure that internet is required for installing or at least for activating the game

Needs one time Internet connection to activate via steam, needs to take pc somewhere this can be done.

wont work without internet. he should take his pc to your house and install from there.

maybe it s enough if he only takes his harddrive put it in your pc, log into Steam with his account and then he can play in offline mode when he s at home again. but i m not sure if that works

He can install from the disc but will need an internet connection to activate the game. After it's been activated he can switch Steam to offline mode and play from there. If his computer has a wireless connection he could connect it to his phone if it can be used as a 'Wireless Hotspot'.

Connection is needed. Is described in the requirements, don't blame CA. Maybe you could help him with your internet. If he has an laptob it is easy, otherwise you could make a mp seasson and he could bring his PC to you.

Your friend need to bring his/her pc/laptop to where internet connection will be available to install and activate the game on Steam. Or you can bring mobile broadband to his/her place to help with the installation.
