For The Republic!
For The Empire!
ROME WILL BURN.
Empire is the way forward, the Senate is run by a bunch of elitists anyway.
/The Eagle Standard/Under the patronage of Omnipotent-Q/Werder Bremen fan/
Empire!!!! ,a Celtic one ofcourse
All depends on the Senate. If its anything like the Senate in 49bc then Emperor for sure. No Caesarian clemency
Oh 100% Republic. The Republic is what Rome was founded upon when it drove out the Kings. The principle that no one man should hold too much power. The fall of the Republic is a theme we see time and time again throughout history and even today.i.e populists taking absolute power on the backs of the corrupted will of the masses.Remember that "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely".Obviously RII is just a game so I may go empire for gameplay purposes if needs be...Still......
For the Republic!
Remember, remember, the third of september, the Rome II treason and plot. I know of no reason why pre-order treason should ever be forgot.
One empire to rule them all.. or something like that
Already answered that question in my signature...
Ceterum autem censeo res publica delendam esse!
R2TW stance: Ceterum autem censeo res publica delendam esse

I will be the Senate's humble servant. I will obey and glorify Roma, not enslave her. Kings are for lesser people. No Monarch shall set foot inside the pomerium whilst I, patrician and Princeps Senatus, ever shall live.
I do both eventually but emperor for sure the first time
Empire, if I am forced into a civil war, it will be the first and last time..
The great democracy of Icenia will liberate your puny empires very soon. (and steal all your land and overwhelm your ridiculous cultures). Democracy by force - yeah!
My signature is running from the battlefield. A SHAMEFUR DISPRAY!
I'm so gonna rape this game hard, I mean to burn rome, conquer everything with rome and build a republic with rome!
If you must break the law, do it to seize power: in all other cases observe it.
-Julius Caesar
I plan on making an army full of onagers just to set Rome ablaze.
It will be a glorious sight to behold.
