Kingdoms wont work after installing 1.5 Patch

Hey folks,
I need someone help.

I Installed Med II (Retail Version) in a Folder outside Programme Files C:\Games\Medieval 2 to be exact.
I disabled UAC.
Took Ownership of the Games Folder.

I went on to install Kingdoms (Retail Version) which updated it to 1.4.
I tested it, Kingdoms was running fine.
I again took ownership of the Med II folder (Just incase)
I went on to install "Total_War_Kingdoms_EnFrItGeSp" 1.5 Patch.
Installed without any cause for concern, no error messages or anything?

I click one of the icons to start kingdoms and I get this.


I have Windows 7, UK Retail version of both games. I don't know what to do next?

Original ones, got them as soon as they came out.

It's the right patch, then, but could be a bad download. When the patch was first released, it took me three downloads to get a good copy.

Any recommendations of where I can get a good copy of the 1.5 Patch?

I'll have to reinstall all of Med II and Kingdoms again?

I've used Gamershell before with good results.

Have you disabled the UAC? It may do it for you.

Yeah, I dropped the UAC slider to the bottom, even installed as Administrator.. Kingdoms worked until I upgraded it to 1.5, then it crashes every time I try to activate it.

I use the Campaign Icons.
I've also used the Launcher.exe, same problem.

Have you tried to go to Start> All Programs> Sega> M2TW> One of Kingdoms campaigns> Launch #Kingdoms of your choice.exe?

It works for me that way.

Just tried it, still the same Bug Happens.

I've downloaded the Patch again this time from GamerHell and the same problem arises.

I also changed the UAC Privileges on C:/ Drive, but this was after the latest install failed.
So I'll go through this again and see what happens?

Nope, still can't get it to load up, I just don't get it, Kingdoms is fine after 1.4.

How many times do I have to download this thing before I find one that works?

1.5 doesn't report that any file failed to install, yet it wont work.

Nope, tried Gold Patch 1.5 and the same problem arises.

I even tried creating a new Partition and Disabled UAC and took ownership of it, still the same problem.
I don't get it, again, it shows me no error during installation, like it worked fine but opening it causes Kingdoms.exe to CTD.
Kingdoms 1.4 is fine, but updating to 1.5 is what causes the problem.

Tried them all, the exe's and the links in the Desktop. Nothing works.

Kingdoms.exe won't work alone because CA did not make it standalone.

Does the launcher have them listed when you use it?
