    Good middle-range configuration .
But I bet you'll expierence a problems with running Oblivion and M2TW at high and highest levels of graphics . You'll really need 2 gb RAM for this games. And video will be real bottleneck!
To deal with recent games a 512 mb videocard is absolutely must have. I think Nvidia 7950GT (will be soon) is a promising candidate.
Do you want yo overclock your future CPU? Try this ... and you'll be surprised!

This computer will maybe last for a year or two at most in terms of ability to play games. That isn't such a bad thing. Getting a medium range computer is quite a good idea as even high end machines will be totally outclassed in about two years aswell. The components are just being improved so fast that it is impossible to stay ahead. It will probably just mean that you won't be able to play games on max graphics.

btw the extra gig of memory is a good idea, but you can always get that at xmas or something.

A 512mb card is not a requirement yet, it gives you 3-7 fps at most which can be gained easily with a little oc. Anyway congrats on the new rig it will probably serve you a long time. next stop windows vista and Dx-10 upgrade (Mk-IV rig

The only concern would be the 128 bit memory on the vid card - but at least you can upgrade that without having to change the whole thing.
