Default No you didnt... Maybe I didnt!

Wondering if anyone knows if this works. Ive never tried this but this current campaign, my royal family has got pretty thin. I only have my King and his son as family members. Its early 14th century and the black plague has just started, so I know its going to rip through my lands (England) in a few turns.

If I take my heir and send him adrift in a boat until the plague passes, will it bypass him? Will it bypass people in a boat is what Im asking.
Honest and truly, I AM Robin Hood!

It will bypass anything that's not in a settlement. Until a stupid spy decides to spread the plague everywhere....

Edit: To be on the safe side create a save file just in case my memory utterly fails me...

^ Pretty much this. So long as you heir isn't in a city that has the plague or in a city when the city contracts the plague your good. So you don't need to have him out at see as long as he remains in the field and doesn't enter a city ur good

... and don't stack him with infected units or agents...

Make sure the boat you're hiding him on is in a sizeable fleet. Wouldn't serve you to send him to sea to avoid the plague in a single boat and then get sunk by a rebel fleet or something.
