Late game, massing royal peltasts (they are basically Roman heavy infantry except for having more Greek flavor) made it pretty easy to plow through horde of slingers and basic spearmen.

Just finished the Carthage Campaign on Legendary... The first 60 Turns were a real pain in the ass... Had my Civil War way to early and had a nasty fight between Carthagian Rome (=me) and Carthagian Carthago (=prentender scum) Afterwards it got more relaxed.

@Taff: i saw you unlock Hard and Very Hard at the same time, does finish Very Hard also unlock Hard Achievement?

This post contains both my Legendary Iceny, and Pontus saves
Thus, i have honored my namesake and completed Pontus on Legendary. 69 turns... could probably be reduced by another 10-20 with the current AI. Had some issues this time around with it, mostly when the CW hit me allowing me to take out 3 stacks for free while greatly slowing his initial advance. Aside from cheaply killing countless fools blindly running into my readied pikes -.-' Levy Pikemens slaughters anything in numbers, Hoplites makes a much too strong all rounder, Bronze Shields make a mess of anything and everything you'll ever face. The only thing "hard" with Pontus was having 73% corruption despite having researched -corruption technology, almost brought me to my knees after the CW.

I would suggest you wait for more patches! I've had few legendary games, and it's not even that hard with the current state of the game.

It could have been a nice competition if only the game wasn't so bugged , after having to remake the legendary campaign 3 times and once when I was almoust finished with it honestly deprived me of the focus andthe will to even complete it now .

I think that at this point this challenge should be postponed and reopened after the Rome 2 will be fixed to be more challenging.

So far there is no point in this contest because you really cant loose campaign even on legendary, and if they will once fix it it will be unfair to the new players which will accept this challenge.

I do not want to risk losing what ive gained by a remade challenge as ive put quite a lot of admittedly enjoyable time into this, id very much approve of a new one however.
