Phone Password Problem

My brother just got a Xperia Sola mt27i phone.
Anyway when we put the Sim Card it asks for a PIN (which other phones don't) , we type in the password and it's ok .
BUT after that it asks for another password and we have no idea which , we dug up the whole manual without any clues ,and we tried other sim cards .


So is there any way you can help with this retardness ?

Im just guessing here, but it might be that it is a password protected unlock that someone put on there(possible if it was on display at a store or you bought a used one).

Since he just got it, you might want to try to hard reset it, there are 3 ways how to do it described here.

We went to the Company store to give it back , it turns out it's simple worker incompetence , not only that they ed up the phone they also forgot to put the charger in the box . This is the final time this company has gave me ed up , so I urge people to not buy at EL GIGANTEN .
