Right, i have previously had third age total war but it installed without problems. I deleted that one (wiped comp.) I installed third age again but it crashes as soon as i try to deploy my troops! I have spent days looking for the thread that helps but I can't find it I have changed the daylight savings, deleted the geography + map files but it still doesn't want to work!! Argh so annoying! 1. Are you using any submod perhapse?

2. Can you give us some info about this battle which crashes, any special troops involved ( Mumakil etc.. ) where is the battle located( some settlement and which one) ?

3. What Windows do you have? If Windows Vista, 7 or 8, have you edited your security for main M2TW folder BEFORE installing TATW?

4. Your M2TW is steam or non steam version?

5. What are your system specifications ( CPU, GPU, amount of RAM) ?

Hi! Erm no submod! Just the plain game! i simply just go on 'quick battle'! I don't make fancy armies for it just to crash haha. I operate on windows 7 hp! both m2tw and kingdoms are non-steam versions!
How do i show you my system secs? All i know is that it's not brill but it has managed to play it previously!

Press Windows key + R on your keyboard, and in Run Box type in: dxdiag. You will get an info of your specs.

Also, did you at least turn off UAC, or, at least edited security for your main M2TW folder BEFORE installing TATW?

hey I got it fixed now! I uninstalled it and re-installed it and it all works ok! Thank you ever so much for your help though!
