Default Army turns into rebel army even with two generals

    Hey guys,
Lately I got this happening- after turn my armies turn into rebel armies even with two decent generals with few experiences in loyality obedience command etc and its really annoying to lose my armies when mongols are at my doorstep.
I play as Byzantin empire about turn number 150.
    Thanks for any help.

The probability of rebellion is affected by both your faction leader's authority and the general's loyalty. All other factors have no effect on rebellion.

The loyalty of the general with the most command stars is the only one that determines whether an army rebels. Any other generals within a stack are basically heavy cavalry units.

Build a fort or put him in a settlement and he won't rebel. Rebellions tend to occur in the same places and I think they are more likely if your tax level and/or unrest is really high. if you can build permanent forts, build them where you see such rebellions and garrison the forts, that will stop the rebellions, or at least allow a quick response. I think the distance from your faction leader and/or the distance from your capital are factors.

Yes it is true that my faction leader isnt best but I can do nothing about it right. Tax level is low and unrest slightly higher in few setlements because I took a lot of new lands, now I have over 50 settlements. I put armies in forts unfortunately in two nearest cities I have plague so its even more complicated and I have two armies on boats as well.
I will try the move my faction leader close to those armies also change capital to be closer but with such a huge empire from venice all the way to basra medina and gaza, distance to capital will be problem in one or another corner of the empire.

You already are a great empire, so why not to kill intentionally your faction leader (e.g. give him a suicidal mission, such as attacking a full stack. If your heir is more authoritarian, the rebelling armies will be limited.
