Very dark battles, Help required.

Hello, I run MII w/ vanilla SS6.4 and Third Age 3.1, however about 1-2 minutes into some of my field battles, the entire environment goes very dark brown as opposed to green, it's almost impossible to see units under these conditions, any help would be appreciated

Try lowering your graphs, particularly grass

There is a file you can delete that removes the extra darkness from night battles. Forgot which one it was though...

Think its the global lighting folder or something like that. Ill mess around with it tomorrow.

3 kind of weather I hate in SS

1. fogged, total fog, I can't see anything while the AI still all seeing.
2. late afternoon, turned into like a total sun eclipse just a minute into battle, again I can't see clearly while the AI can.
3. heavy thunderstorm, not as bad as the 2 above but still unpleasant.

I remember I had a battle that was so dark the screen was almost black. I thought "WTF!?" and then tried to change the brightness thinking it may have been turned down, it wasn't, but I think I moved the slighter by about 1% or something and suddenly the battlefield lit up and I could see very well.
