Disturbing news about the physical copy!!

So I got my preorder confirmation email from Amazon and it contained some highly disturbing information! I can't even bring myself to describe it, just look!



CD-ROM?!

According to Steam, this game is going to be 35 gigabytes! CD ROM discs only hold 700 megabytes!

Is this game going to be delivered on a 50 CD spindle?!

Steam distribution is done without packaging the information.
CD's will give you the setup.exe that unpacks data and the application.exe.

It will most likely be 3-4 disks.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

The box art is DVD-ROM. There's no way they're still using CD ROM.

They will use DVD anyways, I last saw CDs on Rome I which was shipped with 3 CD-ROMs, perhaps they want to make a tradition with ROME- and only CDs?

You get 1 CD (compact disk) which contains Steam installer and a card with your keycode.

Getting back on track.... So was it an accident? I'm pretty sure the game will be a DVD right?

35 GB is hard disk requirement, so the setup will be compressed anyways, and most probably on DVD ROM's, we are talking about 3-4 DVD's max.

Walmart sells their copies at midnight and Gamestop might be handing out Rome 2 pre-orders since diablo 3 midnight releases might happen on the same night
