Is there a mod that changes the map but keeps the factions exactly the same? Especially a faction with the British Isles? I would appreciate any answers.

Try Mundus Magnus - I believe it only changes the map. Icetorque's warmap is good too, but it makes some other changes with units and gameplay. Also, what version of the game are you playing on?

I'm using the latest version i think, Barbarian Invasion 1.6

Could anyone please provide a link to an extended map with vanilla rules v1.5 (Not BI). I'v searched and couldn't find anything, though that may be due in part to my own incompetence.

Darth mod keeps all the original factions on one of its maps. (you can choose from like 4 maps to play on.
