Am7, quit citing other games as examples for how Rome 2 should be according to you, especially a game involving WW2 which as should be blatantly obvious, has entirely different tactics and schools of thought that have evolved over a couple thousand years from the time frame of Rome 2. The game mechanics are meant to reflect the game's time frame relatively accurately.

Oh who am I kidding? Trying to reason with this guy.

The biggest problem with this game is it's not a First Person Shooter with a witty protagonist...and tits...it needs tits.

So now it is the AI pathfinding? My goodness man. Once Virtual Reality headsets become a thing and your brain can be hooked up with an interneural network made for games, then you can make every possible adjustment to the emotions and suspension of disbelief you could ever dream of.

If the CA will make realistic battles, any period in history will be of interest, even the stone age. It is very important And if the CA does not think so, they lose and the studio will be closed And do not tell me about the number of soldiers. The amount can be adjusted if the computer is weak

Am7 just stop it, CA has done a great job to be honest. I´ve seen your "realistic" animation vids, they were, sorry to say that, terrible. CA has motion capture and all that stuff, don´t even dream of telling those guys what to do. They are the professionals, not you.

Oh dear, I come to comment on how great these videos are(even though I can't understand a word except Testudo) and it's just another complaint thread.

+Rep to both OP and the founder of the videos

I really liked these videos, especially the second one where you see a walled city. I'm playing RTW right now and the level of detail they've put in the new game is amazing. I wish I understood german.

Why is everyone crowding this thread when they should be viewing HeirOfCarthage's new footage which is on a more recent build of the game?

Dunno why but I can't get any feeling of epicness from those images, looks like the usual TW game , with different skins and very small units ... Where is the "Massive" And "Epic" ?

Then something is wrong with you Prom, but i thing you are just so much into the bashing mode that you are afraid of admiting the game looks ace, and when i see the campain map i get the epic feeling. You can let go of your hate now and enjoy the game to come, how about that? =)

how about you discuss of the game rather than other members opinions?

You have decided you don't like the game. Fine. No need to bother us with it.

I lurk this forum and look in from time to time. Forgive my uneducated opinion, oh mighty one; but it seems like you are in the forefront of discussing opinions and of generally nitpicking things.

Let's enjoy the game. This forum seems to have some of the most passionate members of the TW fanbase; some of them seem to think they're entitled to their opinions being taken as rules. Generally speaking, I admire passion. We all want that perfect game. However, progress should never be criticized. This game looks like a definitive improvement over all TW titles before it.

Let's allow ourselves some time to revel in it before we criticize it for minute details.

    Thank you.
