Icon5 Romans: Does 2nd Consulship ever go away?

Recently returned to playing EB after a year or more, but with my own tweaked EDCT. I think the problem of the neverending 2nd consulship existed in EB1.2, but I don't remember for sure and wanted confirmation.

I ask because I've resumed my EDCT tweaking with the aim of more historically accurate way of representing Senate offices. I'm very close to achieving my aims, the only hangup now being the neverending 2nd consulship. Check http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...ding-question) for a technical description of my WIP, but here I'm only interested in the presence/absence of the problem in vanilla EB and an explanation of the details of it. It seems a lot like the neverending censor problem the mod note in EDCT says was fixed for 1.2, but that note does not elaborate on the cause or solution that might help me with the consul problem I'm having.

Intend to share if I ever get it working and others want it. Basically, just a modded EDCT and compatible naming files.

    Update!!!

If the problem did exist, I think I've solved it. Senate office reset triggers use "Affects TurnsOutOfOffice 4 Chance 100", i think, because although the 1st point of its antitrait TurnsInOffice removes the trait, it doesn't reset the count to zero. Well, the TurnsOutOfOffice requirement (whatever pts equal ten years of the count) for a second consulship needs to be reset to zero for the TurnsInOffice count to reach its reset thresholds when intended.

You know... just in case anybody cared.
