    Default Urban Navigation

i hope this won't be an issue in 2.6 but if it is i suggest doing something about it in the next update. here's the thing: during a siege battle troops are running around like chickens with its head chopped off(i hope you've seen it TBH it's quite hilarious) they don't hold formations, wont run when i tell them to, part of the unit falls behind, part runs forward, sometimes single soldier will be stuck in some corner or go into restricted area that troops can't go into and restricts the movement of whole unit. this is especially hard when it comes to cavalry which aren't that great in siege battles to begin with. it results in huge blunder and in a goddamn bloodbath. i know that urban navigation is a problem with the vanilla too but not this much of a bummer for sure i mean man could've 180°'d a speeding train in a space where cavalry won't make a simple right turn. it's really frustrating to watch my elite soldiers get decimated because of this bug.

pretty sure this is a game engine problem, I've seen it in vanilla a ton and don't know if it can be fixed. It kinda goes along with phalanx units randomly breaking formation and wandering off (I hate that). Someone was asking a similar question in the rs2.6 thread about hopilite formations. The modders have fixed some amazing things but I don't know if unit tracking is something fixable. This bug is one of the main reason I detest siege battles. They are fun but at some point the units just don't know where to go and it gets really annoying. Hopefully it won't be a problem in Rome 2 ^_^

Use 'Large' and not 'Huge' - and put them in columns first - then tell them where you want them to go. Solves nearly all issues.

RSII 2.5/2.6 Tester and pesky irritant to the Team. Mucho praise for long suffering dvk'.
