Additional factions?
I know this was touched on in some posts but i would like to formally have a disscusion about feasible additional factions and get the devs feedback if they have plans for additional factions.
I think the following factions could be added:
zhang yan - govenor of he nei
yan baihu - split liu yong up
wang lang - again split liu yong
(liu yong yan bai hu and wang lang should all be allied at tge start. Wang lang would own jian an as well)
Zhao fan
jin xuan
liu du- i think thats his name?
(Split hua xins faction into 4. A faction for eaxh governerall allied to each other.)
Shi xie - governer of jiao zhi
Han sui - split from ma teng since the devs are saying they want this historicallly acurate and not novel based han sui was pretty much his own man and fought against ma teng numerous times.

Re: Additional factions?
Expect all of them to be added at some point. First on the list are Shi Xie and Zhang Yang, then afterwards will be splitting existing factions.
Doubtful that we will have that Han Court as a playable faction.

Re: Additional factions?
I like the han fraction idea! but then again, the emperor had no military power.

Re: Additional factions?
The han emporer never really had military power he could issue edicts to march the army under someone but he never led the army himself. Ths emporer was much too weak and possibly tp valuable to risk his own life on the battle feild. Also having the emporer marching out would make it so that any faction he fights is a rebel to the han. Think of the han as the papal states. Papal states woild be able to just excommunicate anyone they went to war against and that is hacks. I dont want the emporer being player controlled.
I was thinking for some unique unit for shi xie he could have some viet barbarian troops recruitable in his starting location only available to him and maybe nanman to reflect his relationship with those people.

Re: Additional factions?
It could be interesting to have a 184AD scenario, playing as the Prime Minister/Chancellor He Jin and Zhang Jiao.

Re: Additional factions?
Expect a 217 scenario as the late era campaign, although implementing it will be a long way off.
