Default Possible Competition for Rome 2?

So, I know it is free and we will all be able to buy Rome 2 and get The Great War, but if you are like me and have a full time job along with family and a social life, then you do not have as much time to play Total War games as you want. Back when Rome 1 came out I had a bit more free time and was able to geek out, however, that was roughly eight years ago, things have changed.

The Great War has been something I have been waiting for since the 1st alpha came out and knocked the idea of a WW1 total war in my head. WW1, in my opinion is the last war that can be represented in a total war engine. (Mainly because the introduction of mobile warfare changed warfare in WW2 durrasticly.) I am a World War 1-2 Buff so when I logged on to TWC to see they finially finished my favorite Mod, I almost did a blackflip. Now... there is a problem, this is comming out around the same time as Rome 2. So what will you devout your time to?

    - BTW I am not making this a poll or a competition to what is the BEST game. They are both different and aswome games and I refuse to compare a game made by fans (a mod) and a game produced by the game makers... I simply want to see what people are interested and If CA were to make a WW1 game would people want it, or would they rather have more shield clashing tw games?

I'd rather they concentrate on pre-gun powder warfare, as fun as guns are.
Its ok to dabble in the arts like FOTS, but CA honestly hasn't gotten the authenticity of melee combat down yet.

Actually I want them to do a Kadesh game similar to What the Ancients Begat administration class.

    OMFG cannabis maximus

    I never saw that.

I don't really like The Great War. Total war doesn't lend itself to world war 1 gameplay. There are very few formations and the only thing that works well with total war would be the artillery. Plus when it was released and even now it was super buggy and would crash a lot. Some of the nations still have a glitch were they get ridiculous amounts of money per turn.

Closed as this has nothing to do with Rome II gameplay. Go to the Great War forum to talk about it or go to the General Total War Discussion to talk about the future of Total War after Rome II.
