what band is this?

I have this crappy version of a heavy metal song, which is labeled "Four Horsemen", but I have no idea what band is playing it.
I want to get this album this song is on so anyone knows?

i guess it would be metallica. they have a song called "four horsemen". its on their album "kill 'em all".

I am 99% certain that is Metallica's The Four Horsemen. The quality is so bad though that when I pulled out my copy of Kill 'em All, it was hard to tell. After listening to it about 4 times each though, I am fairly certain that it is The Four Horsemen by Metallica, or at least a cover version of it. Actually, since there are two versions of the song, it can safely be assumed that song is indeed the four horsemen.

Also, Megadeth have a song called "Mechanix", which is note for note exactly the same as "Four Horsemen", the only difference being the lyrics. The reason for that is Dave Mustaine, who was lead guitarist for Metallica before Kirk Hammett joined, actually wrote the song. The Megadeth version is much faster, but Metallica's is quite obviously superior

I cant listen to the clip because I'm at work, but I do remember downloading a version of "Mechanix" that almost sounded like a demo version, but it was definitly Megadeth. Mustaine's whine is unmistakable :tooth:
I've never heard the album version of Mechanix though, and it could be that the original is just badly produced.

Yeah this sounds like a demo version.
The version that is on their first album sounds better then this one even tho it is still raw.
