My first playthrought will be as the Suebi and I am looking for a good authentic food and drink combination that I can cook/prepare for myself. Does anyone have some suggestions as to some good Germanic barbarian cuisine?

I saw the "when in rum" drink and wanted a Germanic version. Along with a good meal I could cook to get in the mood because I wont have R2TW till 16:00 on the 3rd.

Make your own, it's a lot easier than you think (especially if you want non-alcoholic). You can even flavor 'em! Found a recipe for blackberry mead... Mmm <3

If you would like to have food a little bit typical for Germanic tribes, I would recommend a mash of cereals. If you would like to have the most typical food of today Germany, I would recommend hamburgers and Coca-Cola.
