If anyone is curious the units are, from left to right: Shield Bearers, Companion Cavalry, Royal Peltasts and Foot Companions.

Sounds good. Can you tell us why Egypt decided to attack you? The screen doesn't offer any explanation.

All factions apart from Rome, who just had small more traditional cavalry unit bodyguards.

All Hellenic factions have a diplomatic penalty with each other. At the start of the game there is a trespasses diplomatic penalty in affect, as well as agent action penalties agianst Egypt and Sparta which they don't like. So the starting attitude is -68. They don't like each other.

that name Odysseus Wanderers.... was that suggested by the game or was it customized by yourself?
They have the same stats as the equivalent unit when recruited.

The name of the army is the default on the game gave it, I've not customised it.

Is Foot Companions a kind of pikemen or? and Shield Bearers in rome: alexander could throw spears. so can Shield Bearers that again? and if yes what is the difference between them and peltast?

Sounds like a dismounted counterpart to Companion Cavalry, no?

Nevermind, my previous post was a question that was answered.

Thanks for the ability to choose different bodyguard units, CA. Really love this feature!

Shield Bearers are elite Hoplites and Foot Companions are elite Phalangites=)

LOL I erased that question I posted because I noticed it had been answered haha Thank you though

On topic: It's a shame that Rome cannot choose General bodyguards. I know it was accurate that they had cavalry bodyguards etc. but for gameplay reasons, I'd love to have a Praetorian bodyguard for my General
Now I have to play as someone else to get this feature

Curious can you describe some of the units for us.

For example how long are the Shield bearers, royal peltasts and foot companions spears? As bodyguard units how long are their spears?

He said they were exactly the same stats as the normal units you'd recruit on the campaign map.

Shield Bearers were seen in the Rome vs Macedon vid, they are elite hoplites.
    Foot companions are elite pikemen.
Royal Peltast are kind of elite shock troops from what I could gather, they fight with swords.
